Backend Software Engineer

  • Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a backend engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Server-side Development: Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
    • REST API Development: Build and manage REST APIs to ensure seamless communication between systems.
    • Database Management: Work with databases like MongoDB / MySQL to ensure data integrity and consistency.
    • Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Requirements:
    • JavaScript Expertise: Strong knowledge of JavaScript to develop robust and scalable applications.
    • Node.js Experience: Hands-on experience with Node.js to build fast and efficient server-side applications.
    • Express.js Framework: Familiarity with Express.js framework to develop RESTful APIs.
    • Database Integration: Knowledge of database integration (MongoDB / MySQL) to ensure seamless data transfer.
    • Asynchronous Programming: Understanding of asynchronous programming and callbacks/promises to write efficient code.
    • Git Version Control: Basic knowledge of Git for version control to manage code changes effectively.
  • Good to Have:
    • API Security: Experience with API security (JWT, OAuth) to ensure secure data transmission.
    • Testing Tools: Knowledge of testing tools (Jest, Mocha) to ensure high-quality code.
