GlobalLogic seeks a skilled Procurement Expert to manage end-to-end sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management for both IT (hardware, software, services) and non-IT categories. This role requires effective contract negotiation, cost control, and risk management to ensure streamlined procurement processes, cost savings, and quality delivery while maintaining compliance standards.

Responsibilities
  • Vendor Sourcing and Relationship Management:
    • Identify, qualify, and onboard reliable suppliers for both IT and non-IT needs.
    • Foster long-term partnerships with key vendors, focusing on quality, cost, and timely delivery.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management:
    • Lead negotiations with suppliers, ensuring optimal terms for pricing, quality, service level agreements, and warranties.
    • Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with IT, finance, HR, facilities, and legal departments to align procurement activities with organizational needs.
    • Actively support cross-functional projects by ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement solutions.
  • Process Improvement and Technology Integration:
    • Evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
    • Leverage procurement software and tools to streamline purchasing, tracking, and reporting processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
  • 6-8 + years of experience in procurement, with a focus on both IT and non-IT categories preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with proven experience in contract management.
  • Proficient in procurement management systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work across departments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
