Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Team Leader to provide leadership and direction to our technical team responsible for delivering superior customer service and executing departmental objectives.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform managerial activities such as hiring, performance management, associate development, department staffing, budgeting, communicating, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Determine specific resources and skills required for ongoing activities and provide leadership to staff on all projects within the area of responsibility.
  • Provide coaching and encourage career development, growth, and success for direct reports.
  • Maintain an aggregate view of customer demand for IT support versus IT resource capacity.
  • Assign production support tasks to application development resources.
  • Design and use management reports for resource utilization to maximize the utilization of IT resources based on priority and skill set.
  • Provide architectural recommendations, research, and proactively recommend tools, resources, and new technology to satisfy operational requirements and customer needs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and schedule assignments and projects with subordinates, and participate in establishing tactical plans on a global level.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, Engineering, or related discipline. Master's Degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of technical experience in a variety of IT disciplines gaining conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated competency in the execution of multiple projects, including managing resources across multiple projects to meet goals.
  • Advanced knowledge of the IT field and in-depth knowledge of more than one specialty area.
  • Recognized as a technical expert in one or more IT disciplines.
  • Necessary leadership, team building, motivation, and delegation skills.
  • Can assess skills, anticipate development needs, and promote learning.
