Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to support the modernization of a large financial institution's platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing data pipelines, orchestrating workflows, and processing data using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy data pipelines using GCP services such as Big Query, Dataflows, and Dataproc.
  • Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Process and transform data using ETL processes and Restful or GraphQL APIs.
  • Develop and maintain data sets, integrating with various APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and document data components, including data architecture, logical and physical data models, database objects, and database administration.
Key Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in the financial or banking sector.
  • Expertise in Pyspark, Java, or Python programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, ingestion, and ETL processes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
