Senior Informatica Engineer Job Opportunity

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Senior Informatica Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based ETL pipelines using Azure services and integrating data into AWS Datalake or other modern data platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Informatica and cloud-based analytics, as well as expert-level knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake & Azure App Service.

We are seeking someone who can work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver efficient data solutions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for collaborating with data scientists to build effective data workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related services.
  • Process, transform, and load large datasets into AWS Datalake or other data stores.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver efficient data solutions.
  • Work closely with data scientists to build effective data workflows.
  • Create and manage data storage solutions including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.
  • Implement data validation and cleansing procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure data availability and consistency.
  • Optimize pipelines for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Informatica and cloud-based analytics.
  • Expert-level knowledge of: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake & Azure App Service.
  • Experience with API ingestion and streaming ingestion methods.
  • Familiarity with DevOps (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse modeling (Kimball, Inmon).

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of: Azure Databricks, Azure IoT, Azure HDInsight + Spark, Azure Stream Analytics, Power BI. Working knowledge of Python & Experience in developing security models.
