Endpoint Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Endpoint Security Specialist to join our Cyber Team. In this role, you will play a critical part in preventing cyberattacks and protecting valuable assets.

As an Endpoint Security Specialist, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms. This includes creating and deploying EDR agent packages using centralized solutions such as SCCM, developing and enforcing security policies and procedures for endpoint protection, ensuring endpoints are up-to-date with the latest security patches and software updates, and configuring EDR policies to align with organizational security requirements.

You will also be responsible for customizing detection rules to enhance threat detection capabilities, providing regular updates to management on endpoint security status, conducting training sessions for employees on best practices for endpoint security, raising awareness about emerging threats and how to avoid them, staying updated on the latest trends and advancements in endpoint security, evaluating and recommending new EDR tools and technologies, participating in threat intelligence sharing to enhance the organization's security posture, working closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of EDR solutions with existing infrastructure, troubleshooting any agent-related issues along with the IT team, collaborating with the Security Operations Center (SOC) and other security teams to improve overall threat detection and response capabilities, supporting internal and external audits and providing necessary logs/reports within agreed timelines, closing identified vulnerabilities within defined timelines, liaising with vendors and service providers to manage and optimize EDR solutions, creating Agent installation SOPs for various operating systems for the IT team to follow, and creating and maintaining knowledge bases capturing known issues and solutions.

• 6 days of general shift support and on-call for critical issues
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Experience with SCCM and other centralized solutions
