Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Opportunity

A remote role for a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist is available. The position will involve working with an offshore client in Singapore, following the local schedule.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Implementation, management, and troubleshooting of AWS Technologies (ECS, EKS).
  • Operating Systems such as AWS Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Maintenance, management, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure.
  • Resolving IT infrastructure issues.
  • Project implementation and supporting tasks.
  • Creating high-quality technical documentation.
  • Support for out-of-hours work if required by the schedule.
  • Onboarding new cloud technologies and challenging existing implementations professionally.
  • Engagement in cloud security activities.
  • Compliance with ITSM/ITIL methodologies in day-to-day operations.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in AWS Cloud or a related field.
  • Knowledge of cloud security tools like Checkpoint, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and AWS Detective.
  • Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer), or equivalent.
Technical Expertise
  • Operating Systems: Red Hat, AWS Linux
  • Build Tools/CI/Virtual: AWS DevOps, Jenkins
  • Containers Environment: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS
  • Cloud Technologies: Amazon Web Services
  • Automation/Scripting Languages: Terraform, Ansible, Shell Scripting, Python
  • Databases: MySQL
Professional Certifications
  • Preferring candidate with AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA)
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer or related Linux certifications
  • Relevant cloud security certificates
