Job Summary

Solution architect for Global Distribution Services Operations seeks a skilled professional to design and implement digital solutions for seamless product delivery worldwide. This role will oversee logistics operations, including transportation, inventory ownership models, and Supply Chain Order Management, ensuring timely and efficient system support.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage SAP solutions for Global distribution services, aligning with business objectives and technical requirements.
  2. Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and efficiency, leading cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives.
  3. Provide SAP technical expertise, training, and guidance to stakeholders, promoting best practices and standards.
  4. Collaborate with other functions to develop and execute major strategic initiatives.
  5. Support the application of data and technologies, including cloud computing, advanced analytics, machine learning, and SAP, to enhance supply chain business processes for Global Distribution Services (GDS).
  6. Author Training Materials/Work Instructions/Job Aids.
  7. Identify best practices and drive standardization, ensuring role definition and clarity on key accountabilities for process steps.
  8. Define process effectiveness monitoring methods, including metrics, targets, data collection, analysis, measurement, and reporting mechanisms.
  9. Engage with IT and Supply Chain colleagues to explore cost-effective and sustainable technology solutions.
  10. Support Community of Practice (CoP), providing leadership, coaching, and training for CoP members.
Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A B.S. or BA in supply chain management and/or engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Supply Chain Management, preferably in Logistics, warehousing, distribution, or Supply Chain Excellence.
  • Prior experience in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and managing supply chain ERP systems.
  • Experience with SAP S4 HANA in MM, PP, SD, BW modules in Pharma Industry.
  • Machine Learning/AI, JIRA, DataLake, Tableau, and Analytical Tools expertise.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to strategically collaborate and influence.

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
