Senior Lifestyle Content Writer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Lifestyle Content Writer to join our team at Samayam Tamil. The ideal candidate will have 10–12 years of experience in journalism/content writing, with a strong background in lifestyle journalism and excellent command over the Tamil language.

The Senior Lifestyle Content Writer will be responsible for creating engaging, reader-friendly, and impactful lifestyle content across categories such as health, fashion, food, travel, relationships, and culture. This includes ideating fresh and trending story concepts that resonate with Tamil readers, adapting long-form print media sensibilities into digital-friendly storytelling formats, and working closely with the editorial team to maintain the highest quality and accuracy standards.

The successful candidate will have prior work experience in print media, with a minimum of 5–7 years covering the lifestyle beat. They will also have a strong understanding of audience preferences in lifestyle content, ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining creativity and originality, and familiarity with digital publishing, SEO, and social media platforms.
