Agile Project Manager and Business Intelligence Specialist


Job Description:

As an Agile Project Manager and Business Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching the team on Agile/Scrum best practices, removing impediments, tracking and communicating team metrics to stakeholders, and working closely with teams, businesses, and stakeholders to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives)
  • Counseling the team on Agile/Scrum best practices and principles
  • Removing obstacles and fostering a collaborative, self-organizing team environment
  • Tracking and conveying team metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) to stakeholders
  • Working closely with Team, Business, and Stakeholders to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Requirements include: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field. 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a technical environment, 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in data warehousing, data analytics or data services. Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling. Experience with Agile project management tools e.g., Jira, Confluence.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications is also necessary. Optional but desirable - Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent). Experience with SQL and data analysis tools is a plus.
