Project Delivery Manager

This role plays a pivotal part in our project delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Execution: Collaborate with senior or project engineers to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Feasibility Assessments: Prepare reports in accordance with agreed formats and review with the local head of structures.
  • Design Specifications: Work with technical teams to assemble specifications compliant with employer requirements.
  • Scope Definition: Agree and monitor scope with the local head of structures.
  • Detailed Design: Carry out detailed design to industry standards, ensuring quality assurance and technical reviews.
  • Project Costing: Ensure accurate information for project costing preparation is completed in requisite detail and to deadlines.
  • Tender Documents: Provide documentary information to assist in tender document preparation.
  • Contract Management: Coordinate project contracts documents and reviews input from team members.
  • Communication: Deal with day-to-day queries from the technical team and report any variances between constructed works and design intent.
Technical Competence
  • Technical Enhancement: Enhance the level of technical competence within the teams.
  • Quality Metrics: Implement delivery and quality measurement processes.
  • Technical Excellence: Promote technical excellence in all projects.
  • Concept Development: Undertake technical reviews and contribute to concept development.
Essential Skills
  • Prerequisite Skills: Proven experience in building structures design, good presentation skills, full conversance with structural software (RAM, CSC, ETABSs, SAFE), Microsoft Office proficiency, and excellent English language skills.
  • Desirable Skills: Good management, communication, and technical skills, with ability to work independently.

Qualifications: Chartered Engineer status or equivalent, degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, and membership to an accredited engineering body. 14+ years of experience required.
