Business Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and profitability in our Bakery category. The successful candidate will develop and implement comprehensive strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on expansion of market share and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, be able to analyze sales data to understand current offerings and identify areas for improvement. They will also have a deep understanding of the bakery category performance and metrics, including customer and competition landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales data to understand current offerings to key customers.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies for Bakery.
  • Collaborate with sales and R&D teams to ensure alignment of objectives and seamless execution of bakery category plans.
  • Drive initiatives that are customer-led to improve the pipeline that aids business growth.
  • Timely review with sales and R&D team and facilitate seamless execution of pipeline projects.
  • End-to-end coordination with internal stakeholders for customer innovation days/meetings.
  • Sales pitch development and training for sales team for key account engagements.
  • Understand customers' future requirements and present it to internal stakeholders based on market relevance of the concept.
  • Identify gaps and untapped opportunities in product portfolio with respect to consumer preference, market requirements, and market trends.
