About the Role

At Postman, we're seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our API Engineering team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you'll be responsible for driving the technical vision and strategy for our API platform.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute technical strategies to improve the scalability, reliability, and performance of our API platform.
  2. Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features and functionality.
  3. Collaborate with product management to define product requirements and roadmaps.
  4. Mentor and guide junior engineers to develop their technical skills and expertise.
  5. Partner with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.

Requirements

  1. 7+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on API engineering.
  2. 3+ years of experience in technical leadership, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  3. Deep understanding of API design principles, architecture, and security.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  5. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
