Job Title: Risk Manager

Job Description:

The Risk Manager is a strategic role that plays a critical part in the organization's risk management framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, economics, or a related field and at least 7 years of experience in risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate market, credit, operational, liquidity, and regulatory risks.
  • Support the Chief Risk Officer in risk projects and ensure portfolio risk integration.
  • Flag outliers for corrective action and collaborate with the investment team to incorporate risk considerations into portfolio decisions.
  • Contribute to change management by reviewing new products, processes, and activities.
  • Ensure all risk management activities adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications such as FRM, CFA are desirable).
  • At least 7 years of experience in risk management, preferably within an investment management or financial services organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using risk models, quantitative analysis, and stress testing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex risk information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
