Deputy Manager-Risk Management Position

 

  • The Deputy Manager-Risk Management is responsible for overseeing all operational activities in the Enterprise Risk Management function, ensuring seamless execution and effective risk mitigation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management framework across the organization, aligning with industry best practices.
  • Design and establish robust internal control systems to prevent and detect potential risks.
  • Identify, evaluate, and document control weaknesses and deficiencies; develop actionable recommendations for risk mitigation and process improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Risk Registers (RCSA), ensuring timely identification of emerging risks.
  • Conduct regular business process reviews, identifying control gaps and deficiencies, and developing strategies for risk mitigation and process enhancement.
  • Ensure the Enterprise Risk Policy remains relevant and effective, incorporating changing regulatory and strategic scenarios.
  • Collaborate with Principal Risk Owners to identify key risks and mitigating controls within their business units, as well as action plans to address any gaps in mitigating measures.
  • Prepare insightful reports for the Risk Committee, Executive Management Team, and Board Committees, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Establish an integrated risk reporting framework, enabling focused attention on critical risks and driving proactive risk management.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A graduate degree in finance, management, or risk management from a reputable institution is preferred. Relevant certifications, such as FRM, CFA, or CBCP, are highly valued.
