Job Opportunity:

Main Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to design and execute test automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • They will develop and maintain high-quality automated tests using various tools and technologies.
  • Improving existing automation frameworks to increase efficiency and reduce costs is also an essential part of this role.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in test automation is mandatory.

Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate must be proficient in at least one programming language (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.) is necessary.
  • A solid understanding of APIs, RESTful services, and data formats (JSON, XML, etc.) is required.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial.

Desirable Skills:

Additional Skills and Experience
  • BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and Cucumber experience is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.) and DevOps practices is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) is advantageous.
  • A basic understanding of machine learning and AI concepts is desired.
  • Experience with low-code or no-code test automation tools is welcome.
