Test Automation Expert Wanted

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to own test automation end-to-end, UI, APIs, and pipelines. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for writing real code, shipping clean tests, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build robust UI test flows using modern tools like Playwright
  • Investigate the application of Artificial Intelligence in QA processes
  • Automate backend/API tests using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools
  • Develop smoke tests, regression suites, kill switches, and sanity checks
  • Integrate automated tests into GitHub pipelines for seamless validation
  • Identify and debug failing builds, isolate bugs, and document them efficiently
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and releases teams to stay ahead of the curve
  • Maintain accurate test data and manage test environments effectively

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with modern UI automation tools
  • Solid understanding of API testing, version control, and test lifecycle management
  • Experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Ability to write, maintain, and debug automated test scripts efficiently
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like K6 and JMeter is an advantage
  • Exposure to testing AI/ML-based systems would be beneficial
