Lead Data Strategist

We are seeking an experienced data science leader to drive business growth through insightful data analysis and strategy.

  • Manage the data science team, planning projects and building analytics models that create scalable solutions for business challenges.
  • Identify and implement statistical techniques, algorithms, and deep learning/ML models to develop strategic data solutions that drive business outcomes.
  • Define, develop, maintain, and evolve data models, tools, and capabilities that support business goals.
  • Communicate findings through visualizations and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver impactful results.
  • Develop solutions for object detection/image recognition, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, concept extraction, recommender systems, text classification, clustering, customer segmentation/targeting, propensity modeling, churn modeling, lifetime value estimation, forecasting, marketing mix optimization, and price optimization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related technical degree.
  • 6+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in a related position as a data scientist or business analyst, building computer vision, NLP, and predictive analytics solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.
  • Programming background and expertise in building models using Python, R, C, or C++.
  • Strong individual planning and project management skills, able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Self-motivated and driven to deliver agreed results on-time.
  • Ability to convert analytical output into clear, concise, and persuasive insights & recommendations for technical & non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in cloud-based platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
