Senior Data Scientist Job Opportunity

Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead our data science team and drive business growth by leveraging raw data to gain valuable insights.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.
  • They will be able to identify, develop, and implement scalable solutions addressing business challenges across industry domains.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Define, develop, maintain, and evolve data models, tools, and capabilities.
  2. Communicate findings to appropriate teams through visualizations.
  3. Collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  4. Provide solutions for object detection/image recognition, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, concept extraction, recommender systems, text classification, clustering, customer segmentation & targeting, propensity modeling, churn modeling, lifetime value estimation, forecasting, marketing mix optimization, price optimization.
  5. Build, train, and lead a team of data scientists.
  6. Follow/maintain an agile methodology for delivering on project milestones.
  7. Exhibit excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  8. Apply statistical ideas and methods to data sets to answer business problems.
  9. Mine and analyze data to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related technical degree.
  • 6+ years total experience with minimum 3 years of experience in a related position as a data scientist or business analyst building computer vision, NLP, and predictive analytics solutions for various types of business problems.
  • Strong individual planning and project management skills, able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Self-motivated and driven to deliver agreed results on-time.
  • Ability to convert analytical output into clear, concise, and persuasive insights & recommendations for technical & non-technical audiences.
