Job Title: Digital Building Information Modelling Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced full-time Digital Building Information Modelling (BIM) specialist to play a key role in the digital delivery and integration of our projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining BIM protocols, execution plans, and other documentation in the project delivery process. They will ensure seamless coordination and management of BIM across various projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the overall use of BIM for projects.
  • Develop and implement BIM workflows, protocols, and standards within the MEP project team.
  • Understand client requirements and analyse/implement BIM execution plans for BIM deliverables.
  • Document and communicate best practices and workflows.
  • Serve as the primary contact for BIM-related technical support.
  • Liaise and coordinate with BIM specialists, modelers, leads, and managers.
  • Manage Revit project production, contents, and standard library objects.
  • Create families and possess expertise in modelling.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary models.
  • Lead and manage a team of CAD/Revit Modelers.
  • Ensure quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all shop drawings produced.
  • Use Navisworks tools for review/QC/documentation.
  • Perform QA/QC before deliverables.
  • Provide one-to-one mentoring on 'Best Practice' workflows to project teams as required.
  • Monitor team compliance with BIM standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct project studies and explain them to modelers.
  • Act as the point of contact for clients in understanding and solving issues related to the project.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in design, drafting, and BIM management on large-scale projects.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and 3D BIM authoring tools.
  • Experience using Navis for Coordination.
  • Technical knowledge of MEP services.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and solve problems.
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibilities.
