Scientist Position Overview

Job Summary:

  • Assume primary responsibility for cell biology laboratory operations, encompassing mammalian cancer cell line maintenance, cryopreservation, and accurate data recording.
  • Conduct pharmacological stimulations, inhibitions, and various biochemical assays on cell line samples, including Western blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunofluorescence testing.
  • Monitor daily cell health and maintain detailed records of culture parameters and results in electronic note books.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and execute experiments, and produce technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Must hold a Master's degree in Cell Biology/Biotechnology or related Life Science with 0-3 years of research experience.
  • Display a strong understanding of cell biology, protein biology, and molecular biology principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and have a solid statistical background, including familiarity with software like Prism.
  • GLP/GMP certification and EHS training are advantageous.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with confirmed experience.
  • Publish peer-reviewed articles and demonstrate thorough research project understanding using standard techniques and protocols.
