As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that retrieves and stores data.

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will design and develop ETL processes to retrieve and transform data from various sources.
  • Mapping data is crucial to ensure accurate and efficient transfer between systems.
  • Developing and unit testing ETL code ensures reliability and performance.
  • System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) are performed to validate data quality and integrity.
  • The deployment of ETL jobs to production environments and scheduling them for execution is also your responsibility.
  • Loading historical data into databases supports reporting and analytics purposes.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong understanding of data engineering concepts and technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter or Talend.
  • Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL or Oracle.
  • The ability to design and implement data pipelines that meet business requirements.
