Project Manager (SAP)

The role of a SAP Project Manager involves leading the end-to-end execution of SAP projects, focusing on planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and delivery. This includes defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors for seamless execution, and monitoring and reporting on project progress, risks, and issues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP modules, such as FI, SD, MM, and HCM, as well as experience in SAP project management and incident handling. They should also possess excellent leadership and team management abilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and stakeholder management, and the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

The successful SAP Project Manager will oversee SAP incident resolution processes, ensure timely and effective handling, coordinate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues, maintain incident logs, and generate reports for analysis and improvement. Additionally, they will facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles, remove impediments, and promote transparency and communication across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end SAP project execution including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and delivery.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless execution.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Ensure SAP solutions are optimized for business processes and meet quality standards.
  • Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Oversee SAP incident resolution processes ensuring timely and effective handling.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Remove impediments and ensure team productivity.
  • Track sprint progress, velocity, and backlog health.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the backlog.
