The role of a Financial Operations Specialist is crucial in managing the financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting for reputed educational institutions across India.


Job Description

As a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing day-to-day accounting operations, bookkeeping, and financial records.
  • Preparing and maintaining ledgers, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
  • Handling accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, taxation, and audit processes.
  • Monitoring budgets, expenses, and financial planning for institutions.
  • Coordinating with auditors, vendors, and management teams for smooth financial operations.
  • Using accounting software to maintain accuracy and transparency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, Accounts Executive, or in a similar finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
