Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality components and materials for our Electric Vehicle (2-wheeler) production line.

The successful candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a solid understanding of the EV industry and its component requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and procuring EV components and materials from reliable suppliers
  • Negotiating prices, contracts, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings
  • Maintaining optimum stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory
  • Ensuring timely deliveries from domestic and international suppliers

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and service teams.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the automobile or electric vehicle industry
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of EV components (battery, motor, controller, charger, etc.) is preferred
  • Advance proficiency in MS-Excel
