Lead Clinical Researchers wanted

  • We are seeking a senior biostatistician to lead clinical research studies.
  • Expert statistical consultation is required for projects on methodology.
  • Complex statistical problems must be solved effectively.
  • Statistical designs for research studies need to be reviewed thoroughly.
  • The lead biostatistician will oversee study projects.
  • Contribute to statistical process development and improvement.
  • Presentation at statistical conferences is expected.
  • Provide strategic, scientific, and statistical input for client research projects.
  • Develop analysis plans and statistical programs for studies.
  • Stay up-to-date with current statistical and medical literature.
  • Enhance current knowledge and practices in statistics.
  • Ensure the scientific integrity of research projects and accuracy of results.
  • Perform sample size calculations and provide leadership in statistical design.
  • Review protocols and case report forms.
  • Develop study assignment allocation schemas.
  • Lead the development of methods and results sections of clinical study reports and scientific publications.
  • Represent clients at regulatory meetings.
  • Provide expertise in methodological advances.
  • Participate in updating Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, or related field is necessary.
  • At least 4 years of experience with a Master's degree or 1 year of experience with a PhD is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in methodological statistical research, including publication and/or presentation of work.
  • Proficiency in statistical methods and applications in clinical research.
  • Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R are essential.
  • Expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills are necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts effectively.
