We are seeking a visionary leader to head our physiotherapy department. The Principal Physiotherapist will be responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative aspects of the department, ensuring excellence in teaching, clinical practice, and research.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and a deep understanding of physiotherapy education and healthcare trends. They will be responsible for developing and implementing academic programs, supervising curriculum development, and guiding faculty in research and publications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Academic Leadership: Develop and implement academic programs, supervise curriculum development, and guide faculty in research and publications.
  • Administrative & Managerial: Oversee day-to-day administration of the physiotherapy department, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and manage resources.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to accreditation standards, maintain proper records, and facilitate audits and inspections.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build collaboration with healthcare institutions, universities, and professional bodies, and engage with parents, students, and alumni.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of physiotherapy education, pedagogy, and healthcare trends.
  • Ability to balance academics, clinical, and administrative responsibilities.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a minimum of 15 years of teaching/clinical experience, including at least 5 years in a Professor/Head role. A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Physiotherapy is also required.
