Business Analyst Job Description

We are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive and timely reporting, as well as supporting the updating of Budget/Projection Templates, Monthly P&L and Schedules, Budget management in SAP, and other MIS/database requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Preparation of monthly Management reports and schedules, providing insights and summaries to assist decision-making and planning processes.
  2. Large Data collection, data hygiene/clean-up, mapping, and presentation in the form of excel templates/schedules and ppt.
  3. Scrutinizing Actual Financial data for General Ledger (GL), Cost Centre (CC) & Fund usage, spot any irregularities and make necessary corrections.
  4. Supporting Annual Budgeting process & quarterly projections as well as reporting on KPI's (including updating Budget templates).
  5. Updating budgets in SAP, monitoring variances, and addressing queries related to budgets.
  6. Assisting with Ad hoc accounting and reporting needs of the Finance department as they arise ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to evolving financial demands.
  7. Partnering & Collaborating with Finance & other stakeholders daily, fostering effective communication.
  8. Identifying opportunities for process improvements & automation to increase efficiency & effectiveness in reporting and analysis.
  9. Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical skills and experience in Financial Planning and Analysis. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-3 years of experience in FP&A or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
