Physical Verification Specialist Job Overview

This role focuses on achieving a clean GDS view, with key responsibilities including physical verification closure for advanced technology nodes.

  • A minimum of one prior experience in completing multiple tape-outs with physical verification closure is essential.
  • Familiarity with DRC/LVS/PERC/Antenna/DFM and associated concepts for advanced nodes on TSMC and Samsung foundries is necessary.
  • The ability to run physical verification on advanced technology nodes and fix issues on base/metal layers while providing recommendations for P&R tool flow is required.
  • Experience working with Arm CPU designs and a strong understanding of physical verification and closure are crucial.

This engineer will be responsible for ensuring design rules are met and the design is ready for manufacturing. A background in physical verification and experience with advanced technology nodes are highly beneficial for this role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in physical verification, experience working with Arm CPU designs, and knowledge of advanced technology nodes. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve a clean GDS view.

Achieving a clean GDS view involves meeting all design rules and ensuring the design is manufacturable. This role requires a strong understanding of physical verification, DRC/LVS/PERC/Antenna/DFM concepts, and experience working with advanced technology nodes.

Additionally, the engineer will need to provide recommendations for process improvements and collaborate with other teams to ensure design readiness for manufacturing. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
