Job Overview

This is a highly technical design engineer role that requires strong problem-solving skills and experience in mechanical component design. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating 2D drawings, 3D models, and bills of material using AutoCAD and SolidWorks/Siemens NX.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design Development: Prepare Mechanical component 2D drawing & 3D modeling, create bill of material, manage documentation as per ISO 9004:2015.
  • New Product Creation: Prepare assembly & part drawing + 3D model for new product development.
  • Documentation Management: Create bills of material (BOMs) and maintain ISO documents.
  • Modification and Improvement: Modify existing designs based on manufacturing & sourcing team requirements.
  • Product Engineering: Prepare design & drawing of new product development/reverse engineering activities of submersible pump sets.
  • Cost Analysis: Compare product costs with other brands and perform MOC analysis.
  • Standardization: Develop and implement design standards and procedures.
  • Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and present technical reports and presentations.
  • Quality Assurance: Manage and work on all ISO 9001:2015 related design documents.
  • Training and Development: Train production/assembly/quality assurance personnel on approved manufacturing, test, and inspection procedures.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve process & product-related issues to support the manufacturing & sourcing team to complete dispatch orders.
  • Customer Support: Action on customer complaints to resolve within a selected time frame.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
  • Technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Siemens NX, and Submersible Pumpset industries.
