Improve Production Efficiency and Innovation in a Smart Plant Role

Job Opportunity Overview

A qualified candidate will possess strong expertise in establishing, stabilizing, and optimizing manufacturing processes using Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and Industry 4.0 concepts to drive efficiency, quality, and innovation on the production shop floor.

  • MES capability assessment & formulation of functional architecture & requirements.
  • Assessment and recommendation of MES platforms based on strategic, financial, and functional pillars.
  • Proficiency with MES tools like Siemens, NEXEED, PTC or Dassault is beneficial.
  • Identification of areas for improvement, analysis of digital use cases, and development of strategies to enhance production efficiency, quality, and reduce costs.
  • Consulting services on automation, IoT, and data analytics in the manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of IoT platforms like Insights Hub, Azure, AWS etc is beneficial.
  • Utilization of data analytics to extract insights from production data, make informed decisions, and manage performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of smart plant strategies to improve production efficiency, quality, and innovation.
  • Conducting MES capability assessments and formulating functional architectures and requirements.
  • Evaluation of MES platforms and recommendation of fitment based on strategic, financial, and functional pillars.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and development of strategies to enhance production efficiency, quality, and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in production management, business management, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in business administration from a top-tier institute is preferred.
  • Proven experience in the Battery or EV OEM or consulting industry in the Smart Plant vertical.
