At MIT Vishwaprayag University, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Test and Assessment Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the university's examination process.
About the RoleThis role requires a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the university's examination process, including exam scheduling, timetabling, result processing, and record keeping.
Responsibilities- Exam Scheduling and Timetabling: Develop and implement a comprehensive exam schedule and timetable that meets the needs of academic schools and students.
- Exam Conduct and Supervision: Oversee the smooth conduct of examinations, handling emergency situations and irregularities as needed.
- Result Processing and Publication: Coordinate with the examination section to ensure timely and accurate evaluation of answer scripts, handle queries and re-evaluation requests, and maintain accurate records of exam-related documents.
- Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of exam-related documents, ensuring compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Administration, or a related discipline).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using relevant software (e.g., examination management software, spreadsheets, word processing).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with academic schools and students.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and resolve issues related to exam processes.
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location of the university.
