Purchasing Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our organization in Hyderabad. This full-time position involves overseeing supply chain, vendor management, procurement, and inventory optimization to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing that supports our growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
  • Sources and evaluates suppliers to ensure the best terms and conditions.
  • Negotiates contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Monitors and analyzes market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensures timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Manages inventory levels and optimizes inventory turnover.
  • Maintains accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs.
  • Resolves any procurement-related issues or disputes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply chain, Operations and Procurements principles and practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Proficient in using purchasing software and MS Office
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
