Job Title: Procurement Specialist

This role is pivotal in supporting operational efficiency and strategic sourcing goals.

About the Role:
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and drive category strategies across global procurement functions.
  • Develop and implement category strategies and projects related to cost reduction initiatives, supply base optimization, and contract negotiation.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing to leverage spend, lead and participate in departmental projects, and serve as a primary contact for assigned suppliers in category.
Key Responsibilities:Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Act as primary point of contact for assigned suppliers in category.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with supplier(s) while effectively resolving supplier performance/capability issues to ensure alignment with strategic direction.
  • E nsure suppliers comply with code-of-conduct programs and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Strategic Sourcing & Negotiations:
  • Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal setting.
  • Provide market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal stakeholders on a disciplined schedule.
  • Use should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace.
Supplier Performance Management:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build a comprehensive view of supplier performance.
  • Collect and relay business specific priorities to suppliers.
  • Own and manage overall Strategic Supplier relationships within the assigned categories.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
