Job Title: Cloud Database Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Database Consultant to join our team. This role involves developing solutions on cloud platforms, leading delivery teams during client workshops, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

The successful candidate will engage with clients to design, implement, and maintain database architecture and solutions that meet scalability, performance, and security requirements.

This position requires expertise in AWS (RDS, EC2, S3, etc.) and strong hands-on experience in MS SQL environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Workshops: Lead client workshops to gather requirements, design solutions, and define database architecture for Oracle and MS SQL on cloud platforms.
  • Database Design and Implementation: Plan, design, implement, and maintain database environments on AWS (RDS, EC2, S3, etc.).
  • MS SQL Expertise: Hands-on expertise in installation & configuration, schema handling, user & security management, backup & restore, and database administration for MS SQL.
  • Server Security: Architect-level knowledge of server security, DR replication monitoring/configuration, high availability (HA), failover, and replication.
  • Database Performance Tuning: Develop and optimize database structures to ensure data integrity, performance, and security.
  • Automation: Implement MS SQL-related tools; write scripts for automation; perform advanced database performance tuning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience as a database developer/consultant.
  • Expertise: Expert in performance analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Communication: Excellent consulting, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
