Cloud Architect – .NET Expert

We are seeking an accomplished Cloud Architect with expertise in modernizing legacy applications and driving containerization efforts using .NET Core, Docker, and Kubernetes.

This senior role requires a strong background in DevOps, security best practices, and mentoring development teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft .NET stack, including ASP.NET, and a solid understanding of cloud platforms – Azure (preferred) or AWS/GCP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, cloud-native solutions using .NET Core, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to align technical direction with business goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend optimal Azure/AWS services for migration and greenfield development.
  • Develop and enforce robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.
  • Mentor development teams and conduct code reviews.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET stack, including ASP.NET.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms – Azure (preferred) or AWS/GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
  • Expertise in building and migrating applications to SaaS architectures.
  • Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, gRPC, message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB) in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and CQRS.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with AKS/EKS and serverless computing (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda).
  • Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture, OAuth2, OpenID Connect.
  • Prior experience modernizing monolithic apps into cloud-native architecture.
