Job Title: Senior Engineering Manager

Our organization seeks a seasoned professional to lead our electrical protection and control engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project delivery, client relationship management, and team leadership.

  • Leverage technical expertise to oversee the design and execution of complex projects.
  • Manage multiple project deliverables while estimating, scheduling, and planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture design interfaces and drive innovation.
  • Lead and guide engineers on various energy transition projects, identifying opportunities for time and cost savings.
  • Prepare design basis reports, design calculations, and project specifications.
  • Ensure high-quality designs through QA/QC processes and advise on design changes.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys as required, managing risks and liaising with global teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and latest technologies.
  • Develop and enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Power Engineering.
  • At least 12 years' experience in designing and executing Power System Automation projects.
  • Expertise in Protection and Control Relay settings, familiarity with key documentation, and proficiency in computer-based engineering tools.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills, with ability to manage complex technical issues and commercial aspects.
  • Professional registration with a leading engineering body is preferred.
