At ADAMA India, we are seeking an experienced Senior Taxation Expert to join our Finance Function in Hyderabad. This role will provide commercially aligned technical advice to our Finance and Operational teams, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with indirect tax regulations across 20 states.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in indirect taxation, including identifying and mitigating tax risks, as well as proactively identifying and implementing indirect tax opportunities for the business. They will also be responsible for continuous monitoring of day-to-day activities and ensuring all credits/benefits available to the company are availed.

We estimate this role's annual salary to be around ₹35-50 lakhs (approximately $45,000-$65,000 USD), depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing commercially aligned technical advice to Finance and Operational teams
  • Ensuring all Indirect compliances timely and accurately at company spread across twenty states
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks
  • Pro-actively identify, manage and implement indirect tax opportunities for the business
  • Continuous monitoring of day-to-day activities
  • Ensure all the credits/benefits available to the company are availed

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant or Post-Graduate Diploma in Taxation from a good institute
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a mid to large CA/Audit firm or in a similar industry/FMCG industry. Tech savvy and process oriented
