PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PR professional to lead our communications efforts.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in PR, with a strong network of media contacts across India. They will be responsible for developing and implementing PR strategies aligned with our mission, building strong media relations, and drafting and distributing press releases and stories for NGO/CSR audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and Implementing PR Strategies: Drive our communications efforts through strategic planning and execution.
  • Building Strong Media Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with key media contacts to secure coverage.
  • Drafting and Distributing Press Releases and Stories: Create compelling content that showcases our work and impact.
  • Searching for Niche and Mass Social Service Platforms: Identify opportunities to expand our reach and brand awareness.
  • Driving Media Coverage and Managing Digital PR: Secure media coverage and manage our online presence.
  • Organizing Press Events, Interviews, and Media Engagements: Coordinate events and interviews to showcase our work.
  • Tracking Coverage, Preparing Reports, and Measuring PR Impact: Monitor our progress and make data-driven decisions.
  • Supporting Internal Teams on Campaigns: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Mass Comm/PR/Journalism Degree: A degree in mass communication, public relations, or journalism.
  • 3-4 Years of PR Experience (NGO/CSR Preferred): Proven experience in PR, preferably in the NGO/CSR sector.
  • Strong Media Network Across India: A strong network of media contacts across India.
  • Excellent Writing and Communication Skills: Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Independent, Creative, and Deadline-Driven: Self-motivated, creative, and able to meet deadlines.
