Job Role:

We are seeking highly skilled Audit and Assurance professionals to join our team. As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for performing complex audit procedures, building technical competence, and serving as the primary contact for our clients.

Your day-to-day activities will involve working with engagement teams onshore, coordinating reporting, and communicating with clients to develop a command of audit techniques and methods. You will possess significant knowledge of audit methodology and techniques, execute large areas of an audit engagement, demonstrate professional skepticism, and comply with risk management and independence policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Relationships: Build and maintain productive working relationships with audit clients and engagement teams.
  • Audit Execution: Direct field work and inform engagement leaders of audit engagement status.
  • Tech Skills: Complete audit procedures and documentation for higher risk areas to broaden technical skills.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute ideas and opinions to audit teams.
  • Financial Expertise: Prepare draft financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, and UK GAAP (FRS 102).
  • Documentation: Ensure all work papers are complete, consistent, and contain procedures performed, evidence obtained, and conclusions reached with appropriate documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree with minimum 1-5 years of related work experience in a similar audit practice firm. Experience working with Big 4 or Big 10 will be an advantage.
  • Accounting Knowledge: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field will be preferred. OR a graduate degree with approximately 1-5 years of related work experience in fields of statutory audits under US GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS.
  • Skills: Excellent project management skills, advanced written and verbal communication skills, dedicated team player, and reports effectively to leadership.
  • Certification: A qualified U.S. Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license or sufficient coursework to achieve US CPA certification in the US state of primary work location.
