Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Unifrax. This role will be responsible for managing various aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, payroll and benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and policy implementation.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per annumKey Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Staffing:
    • Manage the entire recruitment process: job postings, resume screening, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Maintain positive relationships between employees: address concerns, resolve conflicts, and maintain smooth communication within the organization.
  • Training and Development:
    • Organize training programs: employee skill development, support performance management, and provide growth opportunities to enhance employee performance.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration:
    • Process accurate payrolls: manage employee benefits (such as insurance, bonuses), and ensure timely payments.
  • Compliance and Legal Issues:
    • Evaluate adherence to labor laws and company policies: protect employee rights, and ensure the organization meets all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Management:
    • Manage employee performance evaluations: provide feedback, conduct appraisals, and implement performance improvement plans.
  • HR Policies and Procedures:
    • Implement and update HR policies: educate employees about company policies, and ensure compliance with established procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
  • 4+ years' experience working in Human Resources
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
