Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements and product specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Identify, document, and report defects using an issue tracking system.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
- Maintain and update test cases, test scripts, and test documentation to ensure proper tracking of testing efforts.
- Prepare regular test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in manual and automation testing, ideally more than 3 years in a similar QA role.
- Experience with testing web and mobile applications.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in writing detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and different testing methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking tools.
- Familiarity with basic SQL queries to validate database and data consistency.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic experience in test automation using Java, with hands-on knowledge of frameworks such as Selenium and Appium.
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
