Job Opportunity:

Senior Accountant (Construction)

Established construction organizations seek experienced Senior Accountants to lead project-wise accounting and financial operations. As a key member of the finance team, you will ensure seamless execution of accounting processes and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial records and prepare budgetary reports for large-scale construction projects.
  • Oversee the procurement process for materials and services while ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Implement cost control measures to minimize financial risks.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate better pricing terms.
  • Generate detailed financial reports and provide timely MIS updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
  • Develop strategic recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in construction accounting with expertise in cost control.
  • Industry Expertise: Worked on multiple construction projects across townships, residential, and commercial sectors.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in Tally ERP, SAP, MS Excel, and other construction accounting software.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in project accounting, cost control, and material procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial regulations.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
