Senior Ocean and Air Freight Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced executive to lead our ocean and air freight operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a significant portfolio of ocean and air freight business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a sizeable ocean and air freight portfolio, ensuring profitability and growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business development and expansion in the region.
  • Lead a team of professionals in the execution of these strategies and provide coaching and mentoring as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 15+ years of prior ocean freight experience at a top freight forwarder or carrier or 15+ years of supply chain experience and a BA/BS degree;
  • Strategic vision and ground-floor execution;
  • Bias to Action, Process, Structure, and Data;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
  • An obsession with client happiness. You succeed when they succeed;
  • Ability to travel locally, nationally, and internationally;
