Roles and Responsibilities

">

Key Roles:

">
  • Credit appraisal underwriting involves assessing the applicant's financial status and creditworthiness to determine loan feasibility.">
  • Meet with applicants to gather information for loan applications and analyze their financial situation through on-site visits.">
  • Ensure compliance with pre- and post-sanction credit risk policies.">
  • Manage the complete credit process at the branch level, including training resources on credit, operations, and sales documentation.">
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to track verification checks related to loan applications within the required timeframe.">
  • Maintain a satisfactory turnaround time for UBL proposals.">
  • Oversee credit and risk functions for assigned areas/locations.">
  • Facilitate business teams to achieve monthly/annual targets.">
  • Adhere to credit policy and defined processes.">
  • Contribute to designing and implementing credit policies and programs based on sales team and market feedback.">
  • Monitor portfolio quality and manage collections, delinquency.">
  • Control delinquencies through regular portfolio reviews, especially monitoring non-starters.">
  • Coordinate with Operations teams for disbursal, OTC, and PDD processes.">
  • Recruit credit resources as per manpower budgeting and attrition management.">
  • Ensure audit and regulatory compliance for locations/areas.">
  • Verify prospective borrowers from market links and existing lenders.">
  • Develop training programs for the credit/sales team.">
  • Manage Management Information Systems (MIS) for the vertical.">
