Technical Support Analyst Position

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Analyst to join our team in providing expert-level technical assistance for complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced technical support services for applications and systems running on various platforms.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across multiple database environments.
  • Maintain routine tasks, patches, and upgrades for supported systems.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and implement fixes.
  • Communicate issue resolutions and root cause analysis effectively.
  • Participate in incident management aligned with the Toronto time zone.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Tandem HP NonStop systems is essential.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows server environments is required.
  • A solid understanding of SQL and experience with Sybase, Oracle, and other relational databases are necessary.
  • Experience in production support, incident management, and performance tuning is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Jira is beneficial.
