The role involves overseeing the strategic direction and financial operations of multiple businesses owned by our Family Office.

As a results-driven Financial Controller, you will be responsible for leading the entire accounting and finance function, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, and implementing robust financial controls.

Key responsibilities include supervising and mentoring the accounts and finance teams, managing end-to-end accounting operations, developing internal controls and procedures, analyzing workflows and financial data to identify operational bottlenecks, and evaluating and enhancing existing accounting and finance processes.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for internal leadership, external auditors, and other key stakeholders on financial matters, preparing and presenting periodic financial insights, performance summaries, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Financial Performance Analysis

Develop and maintain effective systems for monitoring and reporting financial performance, providing timely and accurate financial information to support business decisions.

Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and develop recommendations for process enhancements.

Prepare and present detailed financial reports and presentations to senior management and other key stakeholders.

Leadership and Team Development

Lead and manage a high-performing team of accountants and finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

Develop and implement strategies for recruiting, training, and retaining top talent in the finance industry.

Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to team members to support their career development and professional growth.

Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, maintaining a strong control environment that minimizes risk and ensures the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with internal audit and external auditors to ensure seamless auditing processes and minimize audit findings.
