Senior Accounting Strategist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our accounting strategy and day-to-day finance operations.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger management, financial reporting, and team supervision.
  • This role requires exceptional analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of accounting standards and procedures.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing capital asset reconciliations, trust accounts, check runs, fixed asset activity, and debt activity.
  • Your attention to detail and ability to analyze complex financial data will enable you to generate timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
  • You will also drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures while collaborating with the Controller/CFO on daily banking requirements.
  • In this role, you will mentor and advise team members on handling routine financial reporting and transactions.
  • You will design and implement MIS reporting formats and deliver standalone and consolidated reports to management on a monthly basis.

Requirements:

  • CA / CMA / ICWA qualified with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), or semi-qualified professionals with 8 - 9 years of relevant combined experience.
  • A proven track record of managing general ledger processes across multiple entities is essential.
  • Solid understanding of Income Tax and GST provisions, with practical application to day-to-day transactions.
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written, with the ability to engage confidently across teams and with leadership.
  • Proactive, smart, and self-motivated professional with a positive attitude.
