Job Overview

As a strategic Data and Business Intelligence professional, you will play a pivotal role in building and sustaining our data infrastructure while delivering actionable insights.

This hybrid role combines data engineering and analytics expertise, requiring strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data pipelines, as well as the ability to translate data into business-driving insights.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead the management and maintenance of our data collection tools, ensuring seamless integration across departments.
    • Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines, leveraging Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and APIs.
    • Administer and optimize our SQL database on Microsoft Azure, guaranteeing high-quality, clean, and well-documented data pipelines and dataflows.
    • Implement and maintain data quality controls, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
    • Manage special data projects as we expand into new areas.
  • Business Intelligence & Analytics Responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain interactive PBI dashboards and automated reporting tools for internal stakeholders.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis using SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel to provide actionable insights supporting decision-making.
    • Use Excel for ad hoc analyses, applying advanced formulas, macros, and pivot tables where applicable.
    • Present findings and insights to internal teams, financial institution partners, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
    • Ensure dashboards and data collection tools accurately reflect program status.
    • Special projects that require data analysis for informed business decisions.
Qualifications and Skills

We seek an undergraduate degree holder in data science, computer engineering, statistics, or another quantitative field, with a minimum 3 years' experience in SQL development and database administration (Azure SQL preferred).

Additionally, candidates should possess expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard/report design), proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation, and analysis, and passion about our mission.

Desirable skills include experience with Salesforce or similar CRMs, knowledge of R for advanced analysis, experience with version control (Git/GitHub/Azure DevOps) and collaborative coding practices, and familiarity with data governance frameworks, such as GDPR compliance.
