About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Product Designer to join our team and contribute to productizing the entire journey of finding, selecting, and financing the right college for students. The ideal candidate will bring unmatched student-centricity and focus on designing for the long term and large scale for a global student, university, and lender ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand customer journeys, problems, and needs, documenting them in a way that cross-functional teams can understand and utilize.

2. Collaborate with product managers, owners, and engineers to develop problem statements and design products/features that are technically feasible.

3. Drive the big picture and day-to-day execution of design work across our products, from service design to high-fidelity mockups.

4. Establish, track, and own success metrics for design and user experience across all our products.

5. Help build the design organization in the company and manage/mentor junior designers.

Requirements

1. At least 6 years of product design experience.

2. An exceptional design portfolio showcasing both B2C and B2B work.

3. Solid understanding and experience in design research methodologies and design standards.

4. Practical experience in applying various UI/UX design principles.

5. Proficient in design software (Figma, Invision, Sketch).

6. Experience in understanding user psychology and passion for design thinking.

7. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience designing for an international audience.

2. Experience in ed-tech or fin-tech domains.
